This cache has been placed with the permission on the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) in the Meadowood Special Recreation Area.
This cache has been designed for children and children at heart. The cache is a short walk from the gate (if closed) or the nature center. The nature center has picnic tables and is a short distance from the Hidden Pond.
***HINT*** The lid opens to access the cache
Please respect the local plants and animals and their habitats by staying on designated trails until close to the cache. Use stealth when making the final approach as the area can be observed from accross the field.
Please observe the following rules:
1) Only attempt the cache when Meadowood is open - the times are posted at every entrance
2) The trails are multiuse between hikers, horseback riders and others
3) Give horseback riders the right of way on trails
Stand to the side of the trail until horses are well past you
4) Speak to horseback riders as they approach. This helps the horse understand that you are not a threat
5) Keep dogs on a leash at all times and make an effort to restrict dogs from barking
6) Never run at or touch a horse without the riders permission
7) Never follow directly behind a horse
