This is a 3-part offset cache designed around two famous sites in Hopkinsville, KY. The first two locations provide clues that will lead you to the microcache (the third location).

Location #1:
The first destination is N36:52.407 W87:28.890. Look for the grave of Edgar Cayce, the famous "Sleeping Prophet". Below is a brief biographical sketch of Cayce:

Edgar Cayce (March 18, 1877 - January 3, 1945)
"He was an average individual in most respects: a loving husband, a father of two children, a skilled photographer, a devoted Sunday School teacher, and an eager gardener. Yet, throughout his life, he also displayed one of the most remarkable psychic talents of all time. His name was Edgar Cayce.

For forty-three years of his adult life, Edgar Cayce demonstrated the uncanny ability to put himself into some kind of self-induced sleep state by lying down on a couch, closing his eyes, and folding his hands over his stomach. This state of relaxation and meditation enabled him to place his mind in contact with all time and space. From this state he could respond to questions as diverse as, ‘What are the secrets of the universe?’ to 'How can I remove a wart?' His responses to these questions came to be called 'readings' and contain insights so valuable that even to this day individuals have found practical help for everything from maintaining a well-balanced diet and improving human relationships to overcoming life-threatening illnesses and experiencing a closer walk with God." Text from www.edgarcayce.org

Once you have located Edgar Cayce's grave, note the initials of the person buried to the immediate left of his grave. Use those initials and the table below to determine the location of the next clue.

A.S.B. = N36:51.071 W87:28.276

G.E.C. = N36:51.205 W87:28.218

B.L.C. = N36:51.143 W87:28.227

J.F.L. = N36:51.130 W87:28.009

Location #2
This historic park is one of the few documented sites of actual trail and campsites used during the forced removal of the Cherokee people to "Indian Territory". It was used as an encampment in 1838 and 1839. This park is the burial site for two Cherokee Chiefs who died during the removal - Fly Smith and Whitepath. This long, cruel relocation has become known as the "Trail Of Tears" and by Native Americans as "The Trail Where They Cried".

If you determined the correct coordinate at location #1, you should find the answer to the following question nearby:

What was published in both Cherokee and English? (7 letters)

Convert the answer into a number using the table below:

D=9 O=2
E=8 P=8
H=7 R=0
I=5 X=2

Use this number as the longitude in the coordinate below:

Location #3
