The Grand Strand Geocachers will be holding it's June Eat, Greet & Meet Event at Klassics Ole Time Favorites restaurant on Tuesday June 12, 2007 at 6:30 pm. Klassics is located at 9500 Rt 17 approximately 2 miles north of Little River. We realize that this is a deviation in our group trying to hold our meetings at a centally located site but in the past we have had some requests from cachers in NC to hold a meeting closer to there area so they can plan on attending.
We do realize that this is a shag for some of the cachers on the south end of the beach but why not make a night of it and come early and find some of the many many new caches that have been placed north of MB and then join us for a night of great food and good geotalk.
My wife and I have a Travel Bug Lodge located at this location and have eaten here many times and find the food to be very good and reasonably priced. There menu includes burgers, hot dogs, assorted sandwiches, chicken, potatoes, salads and hand dipped ice cream for dessert. If you would like a menu please feel free to email us and we will send you one.
Bring a friend, a neighbor or anyone you might think might be interested in geocaching. Moms, Dads, kids, out-of-town cachers, old cachers, new cachers everybody is welcome. Please join us for a great evening of geocaching, food and geotalk. We are hoping that some of the cachers that are attending GeoWoodstock 5 will be here and give us a run down on their wonderful weekend. We also hope that we will get a chance to meet many of the cachers that live in the NC area.
Let's all plan on attending and see if we can have a good a turnout as we had at the last meeting. Please post ASAP on this page if you will be attending and the number that will be with you.
