Geocache Description:

Located 3 miles south of the junction of Hwy 45 & Rge Rd 182.

This is the Greek Orthodox Church of Holy Trinity - Old Wostok, established in 1899. The original church built on this site was the first Orthodox Church in Canada. Unfortunately, the building burned down in 1907. It was decided to build the replacement church one mile south. Incredibly, the second church was also destroyed by fire in 1932. There is still a beautiful plot of fenced land dedicated to the church site and worth stopping at. The congregation decided to return to the original site and in 1938, the current church was constructed.

This is a delightful church in the series. Almost more delightful is the outhouse!! Really, I'm not kidding. Someone has gone to great lengths to provide a welcoming place to, well, you know... Nothing squeemish causing or bug-infested about this abode. Take time to enjoy the amenities.
