Geocache Description:

A 7 kms there and back walk from Old Glossop on tracks and grassy paths.
Height gain 241 mtrs.

Park car at Old Glossop near Firth Rixson works SK 0459.9483. Follow the Track heading East up past Mossy Lea Farm and continue through the gate up to Shelf Benches,
The Cache is hidden in a small rocky area which is a good coffee stop with some shelter. There are some good views to Yellow Slacks, Dog Rock, Shire Hill, and Kinder. There is a special feature amongst the rocks - see photos and find it for yourself ! If you fancy a 'Bleaklow Bash', try my other caches in this order - Bleaklow Head - John Track Well - Dog Rock and return back to Old Glossop via Lightside. All round trip of about 12 kms. For experienced hill walkers only.
