Hoover's Playground Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Geobun: The muggle kids won't leave this one alone, and when they check on it, they don't replace it properly. Too bad, it was my first and my favorite hide. Thanks to everyone who visited it and used stealth in their search.

Geocache Description:

7/5/10 Update: I am enabling this cache after a 3 month break to give the local kids time to forget about it. Please let me know if it needs attention.

3/15/08 Update: The park has reopened after a 6-month renovation.

Please DO NOT disturb the vegetation. The bigger it gets, the easier it is to search for this cache.

Herbert Hoover Park is a secret gem in the heart of Midtown Palo Alto. It is located on Cowper Street between Colorado and Loma Verde. It houses two large playgrounds, a dog run, a skateboard bowl, handball and tennis courts, basketball hoops, a softball diamond, rock garden, a soccer field, and even toilets (a rare feature in Palo Alto parks).

This cache has been muggled a few times by the neighborhood kids. Please use stealth, and let me know if it needs attention. Thanks for visiting my cache!
