Geocache Description:

Feehly's Hill, Arrowtown.

This cache was prepared by Dart Patrol of Arrowtown Scouts. It has recently been moved a short distance from it's original position.

Feehly's Hill is a five minute walk from central Arrowtown, near Queenstown.

The hill is ringed by steep cliffs, so unless you are very adventurous, you should follow the path up and down. The path is steep and involves scrambling up some rocky patches, so you'll need to be fit and have good footwear.

The path starts at the back of the lower of two graveyards on the slopes of the hill (see waypoint for coordinates).

The cache is a 7 litre translucent box with "GEOCACHE" on the lid. It is hidden somewhere on the top of the hill, and originally contained:

- 270 rifle shell
- champagne wine cork
- Itchy and Scratchy comic
- plastic soldier
- green bouncy ball
- orange spinning top
- bug puzzle
- smooth black stone
- little bag
- amethyst
- glass necklace
- clay kiwi
- spider-man playing cards

During your search, please pull up as many pine seedlings as possible - you'll notice that there is an ongoing voluntary effort to clear them from the hill. The brush (broom)is also slowly being cleared (excellent job, DOC), so take care not to trip over old stumps hidden in the grass..
