Geocache Description:

This is a coastal walk of about 3/4 of a mile from Meadfoot to Torquay...hence the name of cache: MeadTor.

The terrain is reasonably okay and the area is about 160/170ft above sea level. The area gives you great views across the bay and you can use the many seats to take it all in.

This is a traditional cache and the initial contents contain a Gold US Coin (TB), Silver Heart and a Best Friend Cat. The container is like most you have come across and a notebook/pen is provided for you to log your visit.

If you're going to walk from the Meadfoot end (start from car park), make sure when you get to the cache site that you backtrack back up the steps to see how far any muggles are away from you. From the other direction they have to zig zag up steps so you should have time to cover yourself.

If you intend to walk from the Torquay end then make your way up to the Imperial Hotel (uphill past Living Coasts) and you'll see the entrance to the hotel, plus it will say Coastal Walk on the wall; CW is to the left as you go in. As above para, go past the cache site to check for muggles; not doing so will mean they can appear out of nowhere.

To find this cache, have a seat...then look behind you. Please make sure when you put it back that it is securely seated because it gives the impression that its going to drop but is actually resting on the plants strong stems.

If it looks like this has to be moved by anyone but at the same site then please email me via profile so i know where to find it when i make regular checks. If it has to be moved from the site and put nearby then please send me the co-ordinates so i can update this page.

Enjoy the bounty, the views, and i recommend that you finish the entire walk.
