Geocache Description:

Bring your buckets and spades, your umbrellas and wellies for a caching event at the beach.

A few months ago 3 travel bugs were put in a race to reach our "On The Level" cache. Their owners, The Geo Trio 3, intended to retrieve them when they came to stay at a caravan site nearby. The travel bugs surprised everyone by all arriving within 3 weeks 0f each other! As a result, Lucy (Bug Ears), Alex (Big Dog) and Emma (Fire Fly) have been the guests of Thornproof for the last couple of months.  The Geo Trio 3 are visiting Pett Level on 16th June to collect them.

Well, we thought, what a perfect excuse for an event! Thornproof and the Geo Trio 3 will be at The Smuggler pub at Pett Level from 1 p.m. on Saturday 16th June 2007.

Smuggler
 The Smuggler is a great pub with excellent food and beer. It's a family friendly pub with a garden and of course the beach is only a few yards away; there's plenty of parking opposite. Thornproof and The Geo Trio 3 will be at The Smuggler pub at Pett Level from 1 p.m. on Saturday 16th June 2007 for the great travel bug handover.


Come along and meet fellow geocachers, swap yarns and travel bugs and maybe,
if you haven't already done so, complete the caches we've set in the area.
