The cache is NOT at the posted coordinates!!!
You will need to gather information from a sign at these coordinates and then do a little math and exchange numbers for letters.
The final cache location is at N 49 18.A and W 117 39.B
A= Year of map minus 1142
B= North loop + south loop - both loops - nine.
This information map explains how the Columbia and Kootenay Rivers have there start mere metres from each other in the East Kootenays of BC, with the Columbia flowing north, bending (Big Bend), and then heading south, and the Kootenay heading south into the US, arcing northward back into Canada before heading south westward again to join the Columbia here.
Caution: There is poison ivy near the final cache site.
