Well, this was the weekend to finish up and try to hit 1000!
Little did we know we'd have such a nice day. We saw MANY WILD
sights and encounters. The wildlife was out in force. Rabbits, a
big favorite of one team member, deer and (for the first time ever)
we saw TWO BOBCATS, both in the same day. The cats were right along
the truck trail. On top of the wildLIFE, there was one other wild
sighting. A pair of Osprey's, not the bird, the aircraft. They were
flying in the area north of Bedford Peak and even landed on the
Heliport there. While at Cleveland Longhaul cache, we noticed
something WEIRD up on the next hill. There was a propeller sticking UP.

Great site with Osprey info and pictures

We moved up to a better vantage point and could see that there WAS
an Osprey landed on the TOP of the Radio Tower hill. Was it broken?
While watching, all of a second a SECOND Osprey appeared of the
the top of the neighboring hilltop. It rounded the area and then
landed on the same hilltop near the other Osprey. Was the second
bringing parts to the first Osprey? They left the second Osprey
idling (of whatever you call when a propeller craft leaves engines
running and props spinning. We watched and saw pilots walking
around the "parked" Osprey. We waited a while and they rotated the
props to Forward position and it was obvious they were not leaving
soon. We moved on... Pictures and video posted below...
