Geocache Description:

This cache is on public land. Local legend is that this was a gathering place for Indians because of the large rock formation nearby which seems out of place in such an immense, flat flood plane area.

There is a story about a 14 year old boy who was told by an angel about some ancient golden plates hidden from the elements in a stone box on a hill in upstate New York. It contained the history and religion of early native Americans. Learn more about it (visit link) . Although this cache is not in New York and does not contain gold or anything else of great value, it is hidden with this story in mind.

Clues are in the description.

It has several public access points. One is behind Frey Elementary school. Please do not use this access point or their parking during school hours. And avoid the area before 10 AM during hunting season. Another access point is at N 34° 01.297 W 84°42.466 where one or two cars can park, and just happens to be very close to Night Cache #6. It is an easy and beautiful 30-40 minute in/out walk from either access point. Beware of two things though:
- no wheeled vehicles are allowed
- be careful and go in the afternoon during hunting season

Great place to walk dogs or ride horses for several hours!!!
