J.D. Hill Cache Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Wis Kid: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

Camo rubbermaid cache, on state wildlife area off Port Rd.[OFF HWY BB NOT PORT RD. OFF HUBBLETON RD.]

J.D. stands for "JUST DANDY" is the view on this short walk to this cache on DNR land. Park in DNR lot. There is a mostly pea gravel service road just to the west of parking. Walk back to the road and enter by DNR service gate. [to avoid small ditch that might be to steep or weedy for some, or slippery when WET.]This leads to cache. My son and I picked this spot to hide cache, because we felt this is where the view is the best!! [mom agreed!!] THIS IS A PUBLIC HUNTING AREA SO ORANGE DURING THE HUNTING SEASONS! PLEASE! To adult and small cachers alike, beware of small incline by cache-could be slippery when wet, also thorny bush near cache. Cache is not far from path!! Hint should keep you from bushwhacking. [IF YOU FIND YOURSELF GOING THROUGH BRUSH OR PUSHING BRANCHES OUT OF THE WAY RESET YOURSELF FROM PATH/SERVICE ROAD. NO NEED TO GET SCRATCHED ON THIS ONE!] Watch for wildlife!! Deer, turkey, pheasants.
