Geocache Description:

"Bushland Park" as it is known, or more formally as Onkaparinga St John Bushland Park, comprises of 116 hectares of native bush, a virtual island of native vegetation and habitat in a sea of cleared land. This park is currently owned by the Adelaide Hills Council, and is cared for by volunteers of the local Friends group and the Parks Advisory Committee in conjunction with Council's Conservation and Land Management Unit.

The cache's in this series are not diificult to find and all are located not very far from the designated walking trails within the park. It is the hope of both Team Ermalesh and Chizbeki that fellow geocacher's visit this unique area and respect the native fauna and flora that make up this marvelous park. Please ensure that you abide by the park rules, and keep to the walking trails and ensure that all litter is taken to the nearest bin.

All the walking trails within the park are reasonably well sign posted , however the trails themselves are not paved in anyway and certainly can be very slippery following wet weather, so please watch were you are walking! Access to this cache is accross a somewhat dodgy looking bridge, so again please be careful! PLEASE DO NOT BUSH BASH and stay to the trails.

The Final GZ coordinates are:

S 34 degrees 52.ABC

E 138 degrees 53.XYZ

Where:

A = The current lower reservoir in the park was completed in 18A4.

B = The resrvoir's capacity was later doubled to 7B,000 kL's.

C = According to the sign Lobethal was established in 18C2.

X = The Padnendi circuit can be extended by a further 4X minutes by taking in the extra loop.

Y = Since 199Y the Park has been owned by the Adelaide Hills Council.

Z = Lobethal was established by 1Z German families.

Parking is available near the waypoint given below, beware that the parks official opening times are from 8 am until 5 pm, when the gates are locked until the following morning. The park is still accessible after hours.

You are looking for a regular sized Sistema container painted sort of BLACK in colour. The cache contains the usual stuff that geokids seem to like. Sat-loc within the park can be a little flakey, hence the difficulty rating.
