Get off Interstate 40 at exit 181 and go South.
Once upon a time there was a Truckstop on I-40 East of Albuquerque called Woody's. Its been gone for about 25 years now but some of the locals talk about it like it was still there. For Example: "Go East on 40 and git off at Woody's." "Get off where?" "WOODY'S! Are you def or indifferent?" "Actually a little of both."
They are building a new truckstop just scross Old 66 from the Woody location. Woody, Jr.? No sign up yet. This is exit 181, also called Sedillo Hill. These same locals will readily admit that its on Sedillo Hill, but its Woody's.
The moral of this story is that nothing is entirely gone if folks remember it and talk about it.
Small one, bring a pen. Plenty of parking, 18 wheelers welcome.
