Geocache Description:

The cache is located on the A4120 high above the River Rheidol where you have a panoramic vista of Cwm Rheidol, from the beach at Aberystwyth up into the mountains at Nant yr Arian and Pumlumon Fawr. On a clear day the peak of Snowdon is also visible in the distance.

The cache is located at an elevation of 418ft near the village of Moriah.

Some of the local landmarks visible from this cache include The National Library of Wales, Constitution Hill, Bronglais General Hospital, Aberystwyth University and the Science Park; not forgetting one of the best views of the town of Aberystywth and the sea.

Please be very careful if you wish to walk along the grass verge to get a better view.

This cache has been moved a few metres from its original location due to the speed of the traffic using this road.

The cache is magnetic and you will need to bring your own pencil. Park in the layby and use your initiative.
