This cache is at a unique place to stop on the Michelson Trail. It is in-between the Dumont TH and Rochford TH (mile 85.3). Bring your pencil!
This cache was placed on Memorial Day 2007 and the same day Chad's brother's family had their 3rd girl! Here is a map: http://www.sdgfp.info/parks/regions/northernhills/mickelsontrail/trailheads.htm If traveling from the Rochford TH you have will be traveling uphill for 2 ½ miles above the workings of Nature’s engineers. It is a beautiful trip. If traveling down from Dumont TH it is 7 ½ miles, most of which offers very little shade. No matter where you start, please close all the gates you pass through. Please do not modify this cache. It is an extra-large micro, large enough for a log sheet, and a small item or two. Enjoy the views! Contents: log sheet. Fees: $2/person over 12/day or $10/person over 12/annually. PS: Enjoy the area, but please use caution and care.
