Historic Center Street (MHM1-1) Traditional Cache

A regular-sized cache on Historic Center Street in Logan.

Center Street in Logan is a Historic District on the National Register of Historic Places. Take a stroll downtown and see many attractive, historic, or architecturally significant homes and buildings, several of which have been beautifully restored. The homes (not open to the public) include:

• Seth H. Blair House at 220 W. Center St., built in 1921
• David Eccles House at 250 W. Center St., built in 1907;
• Charles W. Nibley House at 301 W. Center St., built in 1904;

Other historic buildings in this area include:

• Logan Tabernacle at 100 N. Main St., built in 1891;
• Cache County Courthouse at 195 N. Main St., built in 1883;
• Bluebird Restaurant at 19 N. Main St., at this location since 1923;
• Thatcher-Young Mansion at 35 West 100 South, built in 1878;
• Dansante Building at 59 S 100 West, built in 1900;
• Caine Lyric Theatre at 28 W. Center St., built in 1913;
• Ellen Eccles Theatre at 43 S. Main St., built in 1913;
• Utah-Idaho Central Railroad Building at 65 S. Main St., built in 1927;
• and many more.

For the ghost hunters, the nearby house with the turret may be haunted (according to the experiences related by a former renter I know.)
