In the wildlife sanctuary
Smaller ammo box, nature theme. Cache started its life with: Travel bug. Log book, a few pens and postcards. Water. A gorilla (not our type of wildlife--he's from another sanctuary). A centipede (fake. Whew). A stretchy lizard and some other nature related items.
I try to keep a bottle of water in the cache, just in case. With any hike, it's a good idea to bring your own water. There are water tanks in the sanctuary. The water going to them is the same stuff everyone in Sonora drinks, but the tanks have algae and fish and birds pooping from the overhanging trees so again, bring your own water.
