This cache is to mark a celebration. It is to mark my return to the real world of jeepin'.
I must explain. On August 14, 2002, while on vacation in the Little Naches area, a freak accident occurred. I rolled my 1954 Willys CJ3-B down a hill about 1/2 miles from this cache's site. This accident put me in the hospital (I ended up being off work for four months), broke my wife's arm and, thank God, left the boys unhurt.
Four-eight-fourteen marks the years-months-days since I have had a Jeep that runs. I found a 1983 CJ 7 and Memorial Day weekend was the trial run and it preformed very well.
This cache is in a place that all can drive to in the family sedan. All you have to do is find the right roads. The hard core should use the Kaner Flat Trail. The feint of heart can start by using FSR 1901.
The cache is located at 4300 feet.
