This is an easy walk on flat ground. It is a log only so bring a pencil. This is part of the Prairie D'Ane Cache Project. Dont you just hate it when the cacher is to lazy to write a log and only puts TFTC. It makes me want to disable mine.
I ask that you to write a log telling a little about your adventure while hunting this cache. Writing a good log is the only payment for any geocacher. As owner of this cache I can delete the log for any reason and a poor log is one of them. Thanks
This is where John Thayer's Frontier Divison guarded the rear of Frederick Steel's army as it advanced toward Camden Arkansas.
The Action at Moscow on April 13, 1864, signaled that Major General Frederick Steele’s Union forces would not be allowed to occupy Camden (Ouachita County) without a fight. Although Confederate Washington (Hempstead County) would be spared from Union occupation, the Confederates were not content to merely defend this town—they went on the offensive.
To find this Cache from the coordinates look south to the stand of trees. There is "one of a kind".
