Geocache Description:

This is a special cache for geocachers who do a lot of caching around Stratford-upon-Avon - in particular at our Royal Shakespeare Caches.

The above coordinates are for the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust - this isn't relevant to the cache but it is a recognisable site not far from the final cache location. Pay and display parking is available in many places in Stratford-upon-Avon - the closest to here is the multi-storey car park on Windsor Street.

To find the cache, which is a tupperware container just big enough for some geocoins and a small logbook, you will need the following information:

1. Our first cache, Romeo and Juliet (The RSC), contains the GPS coordinates for a statue in Stratford-upon-Avon. When you find the statue, make a note of:

The date the statue was unveiled -
DFnd July, 199H

The date that the street the statue is situated on became a pedestrian priority area
A0th May 19XY

For the final coordinates, B = Y - X

2. One other of the Royal Shakespeare Caches contains information in its logbook. It gives the digits correlating to the letters C, E, G, J and K. You will have to keep searching until you find it...

3. When you have both the information from the statue and the "lucky" cache, you will have ten digits to represent A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, J and K. These are the digits that make up the GPS coordinates of the final cache. Unfortunately, not in that order. The correct order of the coordinates is hidden on our "Key to the Cache" travelbugs that will be hidden in caches near Stratford-upon-Avon. The travelbugs carry the same information - you only need to find one of them.

You can locate the travelbugs by going to "Trackable Items" on the left hand menu of the geocaching website and entering their tracking numbers:

Key to the Cache #2 - TB19BKG
Key to the Cache #3 - TB215YZ
Key to the Cache #4 - TB21608

There is no required order in which to find the information listed above. The fastest way would be to leave the visit to the statue until last, as when there you are within easy walking distance of the final cache site.

Take care of the geokiddies as there are some busy roads and some deep water on the way. You may well to be extremely stealthy at the final cache location.

The following may be useful for recording your information:

A =
B =
C =
D =
E =
F =
G =
H =
J =
K =

Final coordinates = N52 _ _ . _ _ _ W001 _ _ . _ _ _

This one will take a fair bit of perseverance so we've put some geocoins (two active and one as yet unactivated) in the cache for some added incentive. Good Luck Everyone!
