[SWE] Bland Rånnums ekdungar finns ett av Västra Tunhems många gravfält som anlades under järnåldern, tiden 500 före Kristus till 1050 efter Kristus. Under järnålderns 1500 år skapades byar och bygder som till sist bildar landet Sverige. Västra Tunhem är en sådan bygd som har sina rötter i järnåldern.
Gravfältet i Rånnums ekdungar består av ett 50-tal flacka, runda gravar, så kallade stensättningar. Speciellt för Rånnum är att flera gravar har kantkedjor av sten, en mycket ovanlig detalj på järnåldersgravar i Tunhemsområdet.
[ENG] Rånnum oak thickets is one of the many Iron Age (500 B.C.-1050 A.D.) burial grounds of Västra Tunhem. It was during the Iron Age that villages and communities were created which finally formed a country called Sweden.
This burial ground consists of about 50 flat, circular graves. A distinctive feature here is that several of the graves have stone borders. The rock at the end of the burial ground is incised with "cupmarks".
[DEU] Im Eichenhain von Rånnum liegt eines von Västra Tunhems vielen Gräberfeldern aus der Eisenzeit (500 v.Ch.-1050 n.Ch.) von Västra Tunhem. Während dieser Zeit entstanden Dörfer und Landschaften, die allmählich das Land Schweden bildeten.
Dieses Gräberfeld besteht aus ungefähr 50 runden, flachen Gräbern. Das Besondere in Rånnum ist, dass mehrere Gräber Einfassungsketten aus Steinen haben. Auf dem Berg am Ende des Gräberfeldes befinden sich ausgehölte Gruben sogenannte näpfchenartige Viertiefungen.
