Kryptor
AKA: The Green Dome
I first heard of this spot from my brother, who was once a very
avid rock climber. He and his buddies discovered this Blue Schist
pinnacle and developed most of the routes on it. The name is
derived from "Kryptonite" of the Superman Comic series. The day we
placed this cache was the first time I had been here. I found it to
be a really unique and interesting place and took a cache container
with me anticipating it to be a nice cache destination. For lack of
good hiding places, the cache is not on top. I highly recommend
climbing to the top, but be careful of loose rock, it's a long ways
down!
(No rockclimbing is need to get to the cache nor is there is danger
of a fall at the cache hiding place.)
