The starting point is the sign post marked Heritage Trail. This is to the west of the upper parking lot of the OLD MILL RESTAURANT.
The cache container is a yellow 'Beaver' all purpose joint compound pail. The cache is not off the trail very far, yet it is well hidden. The best way to find the cache is to go through a little cave,(about a metre long) so it will be a bit easier for smaller people to get through. The contents of the cache is a surprise.
To get to the trail follow the 403 to Ancaster. Take the Ancaster exit and drive down Mohawk west. Don't worry when the name changes to Rousseax. When you come to the light at the T intersection turn right. This is Wilson St. When you come to the first light turn left onto Montgomery. At the the stop sign turn left and go passed the OLD Mill Restaurant. You can park in the upper restaurant parking lot.
