Welcome to Kings Point! This is the 79th in my series of visiting the different towns and villages on Long Island. This cache is a 35mm film canister. It is an easy park and grab. Parking can be found in the park's lot.
This cache can be found in Kings Point Park.
FOR THOSE OF YOU THAT WORRY THAT IT IS A RESIDENTS ONLY PARK, THE BEST TIME TO GO IS OFF SEASON, SAY FROM NOV. 1ST UNTIL MAY 1ST. I've been to this park numerous times and not once has anyone questioned me.
As with all of my micros, it contains a log only. So, please be sure to bring a writing utensil that can write on Tyvek. Nearby the cache location and throughtout the park there is poison ivy. But, you can grab the cache without exposing yourself to contact with it. Just be careful. During the warmer weather the muggle factor will be high. The ideal time to grab this would be real early in the day or later in the day. Please be stealthy when searching for the cache. Kindly return the cache to it’s original location.
