For this cache I used a favorite container from an old cache of mine, which has a lot of character. When you see it, take a good look and keep a safe distance from these furry creatures!
This cache is in a place that Black Bears roam every year. It’s easy to miss them except when the rubberneckers stop the flow. I saw one here once and tried to take a picture but all I got was this little black dot among the foliage. Hopefully you will have better luck. I called this cache the Black Bear Blues because it is a busy spot in Valdez and it must be very hard for the bears to get back and forth across this road, BUT THEY STILL COME. Please help yourself to some Black Bear Blues tunes also, they are great around the campfire!If you are not the type to explore this area then please stop at the building nearby and enjoy a visit with our other furry friends. They love the company!
