Geocache Description:

This cache is in Fort Flagler State Park, at the end of Marrowstone Island.

Right as you enter the park, go to the large parking area on the left side of the road.

The East Searchlight trail takes off across the street. It's .8 miles RT. The trail is green and pretty and quiet. It was our first time on it, and it was a nice new discovery.

Washington has lots of thorny and spiky plants, and I've found quite a few in Fort Flagler. I did some "gardening" when I placed the cache, but that was over a month ago even as I submit the cache, so I don't know what you might encounter there. Watch what you grab, and consider gardening gloves.

There is a viewpoint just beyond the cache.

This one I'm dedicating to Mr. B, it was placed on his birthday.

As always, I'd welcome pictures. Enjoy!

Congratulations FTF to SwanInWa, Ninja Emery, Lola & the Gnome, and shomethecache!
