Green Moor Village Multi-Cache

This cache is one of a series of caches placed around the village of Green Moor which sits high on the hills to the north of Hunshelf Bank. The views from various parts of the village are excellent.
The coordinates shown on the cache page are for the Rock Inn, Green Moor (I think it is closed down). The recommended parking is by the side of the main road passing through the village i.e. N53 29.484 W001 34.716. There are ample parking opportunities on this stretch of road but do not obstruct drives or the bus stop. Please park sensibly and responsibly. This location is also the recommended start of other caches.
The recommended parking is also where you must start your search for the clues that will lead you to the final coordinates for this cache. A simple piece of observation and number crunching will provide you with the full coordinates as follows.
The true coordinates are at N53 29.ABC W001 34.DEF
A = Take the bottom number of the fire hydrant near the start of the footpath i.e. the letter in the bottom half of the H.
B = Look over the road and take the second digit of the year relating to the school.
C= Take the fourth digit of the year relating to the school.
D = Look on the pole near the benches. You will see 4 digits following the letter Y – take the third digit of this number.
E = Look at the benches and take the last digit of Matthews year of birth.
F = Subtract the first from the second of the 4 digits following the letter Y on the pole.
The final 100 metres to the cache are on a distinct path but there are very steep drops to your left – KEEP AN EYE ON CHILDREN. It is suggested dogs should be on a lead when approaching the cache. The final metres were slippery when the cache was placed due to the dying bluebells laying on the woodland floor. NOW GO AND GET IT.
The cache is a 1 litre tupperware style container covered in cammo tape containing a log book, pen, pencil, sharpener, cache box card and assorted goodies.
