Welcome to the L.A.T.C.H. 101 series of caches. L.iving A.dventure T.hrough C.ache H.opping. This will be an ongoing series of 101 caches. These hides will be spread around to various locations. Caches will be covering different categories, sizes, types, overall difficulty (both terrain and location difficulty), the series will also contain traditional, puzzle and multi caches. This series gives me a chance to get my “hide fix”. It also gives you a chance to get your “find fix”. I love where I live and all of the surrounding areas. With this series I can explore more of my domain and at the same time give you the chance to explore areas that we might otherwise pass by. I am happy when a cache does something as simple as make me drive down a side street that I (while living in the Tri-Cities for 31 years) have never taken. You might say that I enjoy taking the road “less traveled”. I hope you enjoy these caches as much as I have hiding them. Please use stealth when hunting, rehide cache better than you found it, CITO, trade even, take responsibility for your own safety when caching, be aware of poisonous plants/snakes/wildlife/thorns, have fun and happy caching.
All good things must end at some point so this hide will be the finale for the LATCH 101 series. This is the 101st hide so it is only fitting that it be an ammo can....it has a .15 mile hike from parking area. Located in a public recreation area that has picnic tables and walking trails along a stream. The hike is not long however the terrain is a little steep....but wait!...if you order now you will receive not one smiley but a chance for two!...located in the lid of the ammo can are the coordinates for a bonus micro cache located in the same recreation area. This is my way of connecting this series with its replacement...the "BTB 202" series. Bring some swag for trading and a pen...maybe a TB or two...Thanks to all of you who have had nice things to say about this series. I have certainly enjoyed it. I want to look at this hide as a beginning of a new series and not the ending of an old one...more hides to come!
