Geocache Description:

Our friend Joe Navy is departing the Jacksonville area to sail the mighty seas for Japan. Just a simple Hail and Farewell breakfast at a local favorite restaurant. Event will begin at 8 am and last until we are done.

Ok, Joe Navy is leaving us for a couple of years. He will be stationed aboard the USS George Washington CVN-73. So, in typical NEFGA fashion, we wanted to hold a going away party. He will be accepting travel bug and coins that are going in his direction or any that want to travel abroad.

A Special log book will be on hand for all to sign and we will present it to Joe at the end of the event! We will also be activating a new TB dedicated to Joe for him to take on his travels and log in and out of the caches he visits so we can all watch and travel with him.

Event will be at the Golden Corral at the following address: 4250 Southside Boulevard. They open at 7:30am for you early risers (ICM). There should be enough time for all to stop by before any other Sunday morning obligations.

After speaking with the management at the establishment, we need to be out of the room by 10 as there is another party using the facilities then. There are plenty of caches to be found, so there won't be any dull moments. There are no planned cache runs at this time, but something may develop in the parking lot afterwards.
