Marko Ramius: Since there does not appear to have been any response to the logs posted to this cache page, I can only assume that the cache owner is either MIA or is not willing or able to perform normal maintenance on this listing. Accordingly, I am archiving the listing to remove it from search pages and to allow for new caches in this area. If you would like to correct the issues for this cache, you can either create a new cache page or send me an e-mail with the GCxxxx code for this cache listing and I will un-archive it and review it again.

Thank you for your understanding and for your contributions to Geocaching.

Geocache Description:

A regular sized, kid friendly cache at the Will Roger’s State Historical Park, in Pacific Palisades.

Welcome to a series of Family friendly caches placed in the Will Roger’s State Historic Park. Lil’ Pea has helped place several caches along the trails to encourage/ reward her fellow young hikers visiting one of her favorite parks. The trails on this loop are stroller friendly and dogs are allowed on leash.

There was a time when my caching buddy out grew her child carrier, and didn’t like to be carried anywhere. The stroller was pure torture to her. Well, walking was fine, if you were happy going five feet to check out every rock and twig. After an hour, we were lucky if we were 50 feet from the car. That’s when Geocaching came to the rescue, bringing with it a sense of purpose and adventure. Nothing like the promise of treasure to raise spirits and sharpen wits, to engage the young hiker.
So Whether you here just here for the numbers, or looking for a place to introducing your family and friends to the joys and obsession of Geocaching, these caches were placed with you in mind. These caches can be done as a loop hike, or spread out over several trips to the park, whenever encouragement or a little adventure is needed.
The easiest entrance to the trailhead is Up past Will’s home, by the stables and riding arena. Going clock-wise, it is steeper at the beginning but counter clockwise has a longer up hill. The trail is hard packed fire road with most caches placed within a few feet of the trail. If you find the caches getting low in kid friendly swag, drop us e-mail and will try to keep them well stocked.
There is a $7.00 parking fee or you can park on residential streets for free. Look at the street signs; some streets are no parking only on weekends.
