From the parking area near the Highway, it’s a short climb, You can stroll through a lot of names that you will recognize from area roads. At the cache site you can turn and view a very peaceful setting.
Many of the town's prominent citizens are resting here from as far back as 1900. There is also word that in the 1940 - 1950's, there was a community of Japanese families living near MacIntosh Lake and working at a mill there. When an epidemic took many of their children, they were laid to rest in unmarked graves just ouside of the fence. Tread lightly and quietly.
The oldest marked grave was from 1900 and the cemetery is still actively used. The most recent burial was in January 2018.
