This is at the top of Little Mountain. The eaisest way there it to follow the directions to Everyone is FTF and then continue along the ridge until you get to Hill Spawn. However when I placed the cache I parked at the end of Center and walked directly too it. This is a much harder route to take.
In May 1992, Todd Mcfarlane created a new comic book series for Image Comics called Spawn. It was about a man, Lt. Col. Al Simmons, who was sent back from Hell because he made a deal with the devil. The deal of course was completely in favor of the devil and sent Al Simmons back as a Hell Spawn. Many who read the comic believed this was really just Hells Pawn. Anyway, it was a comic I read when I was into reading comics (wow have I always been this big a dork) and I always enjoyed the stories as well as the art work. This cache is less evil but the name and in part the theme are inspired by the comic so I thought I’d give a little background info.
The cache is a large plastic tube with 12 “Spawn” caches inside. Each cache has generic camouflage paint, a numbered log, and a corresponding numbered Spawn Shrinky Dink. There are several different sized caches and the larger ones also have different geo-swag I’ve collected while caching. The main cache also has a logbook, and some more geo-swag. But, what do you do with the 12 Spawns?
When you find the main cache you can trade items and/or just sign the log. However if you’d like to you can take one of the Spawn caches (any one you want) and hide it. The only things I ask are that you hide it in the next 30 days and that you name it Spawn #? (and any other name you’d like to attach). Other than that you can do anything you want with them. You could add camouflage; add swag or anything else you want too. You could just drop it in a bush in the woods, the point is to get out and hide a cache.
