Geocache Description:

A Niagara Escarpment cache.

This cache is at a little roadside park at Skinner Bluff. A plaque erected by the Niagara Escarpment Commission reads - "An interesting series of ridges and bluffs associated with the Niagara Escarpment are visible from this site. At the top is a massive dolostone bluff, an erotional feature flanked by a talus slope of fallen rock. Immediately below, a ridge of sands and gravel records the 11,000 year old shoreline of post glacial Lake Algonquin. The road descends a small secondary scarp created by residual dolostone of the Manitoulin Formation and a shore bluff of post glacial Lake Nipissing dating back some 5000 years." Enjoy the view!

When replacing the cache please be sure it's hidden well. Thanks!
