Geocache Description:

The Alaska State Fair officially opened the new Alaska State Fair Intermodal Commuter Center on August 26, 2004 at the State Fairgrounds. The Alaska State Fair runs usually in the early fall. The Alaska Railroad provides fair service this year to the South Palmer Station, dropping off riders up to three times a day during the weekends. Passengers will be able to step off the train at the intermodal center and enter the fair through the new Green gate.
