Wild Wood Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

hikingdi: HI

Since my last check on the cache, it's been muggled. Only found the 'this is a geocache not garbage' note I placed inside and one of the items from the original stash.

I won't replace the cache as this spot, although really great and had lots of good reviews, is not the best place after all.

I would have had to disable it for winter anyway.

Thanks to everyone who visited!!! I will find a new spot for a new cache with an ALL SEASON feature as soon as I can.

Geocache Description:

A neighbourhood ravine I didn't even know was there!

I found this ravine whilst on the way to moop's Merrill Multi. So once you've found MM, or once you've found Wild Wood go check out the other!

Park locally or take TTC streetcar 506.
I've meant for this to an easy grab... to encourage families and also to prevent too much eco-impact. Once you are in the ravine you will know what I mean. You also won't want to get unnecessarily wet feet.

The cache is a Lay's Stax container that's camod enough but the lid is visible. I put natural coverage over the cache, please put these bits back when you're done. If you're able to nudge it a little farther into its hiding spot, do so, but not to the point of it disappearing.
So, if you now want to get to Merrill Multi, go to the EAST end of the street after which the cache is named. If you come from Merrill Multi, go to the EAST end of the street you're on for the starting coords. At the end of each street are stairs that lead to an underpass to clear the railroad tracks. Don't even think of trying to cross the tracks directly, there is no level crossing and I would hate to see anyone hurt in pursuit of a cache.
Along the way from WW is a playground in case you've got the kids with you!

Also note: this was placed at the beginning of June. I didn't spot any stinging nettles or other nasty plants where I travelled. If you are attempting entry after rain or in winter, please exercise caution.
