Rangiputa 400 (Northland) Multi-Cache
Just Floundering: 1.20pm. It was probably washed away again and probably a while ago as Northland is under drought conditions currently. Decided to archive. 66 finds over 12-13 years indicates this type of cache in this location is not popular so time to go.

Easy access in a delightful beach picnic area. Suitable for all the family. If its summer plan on a swim to celebrate the find. This cache has been set to commemorate our 400th cache find.
The above co-ordinates are in the reserve at the end of the Rangiputa beach road just inside Rangaunu Harbour. You can park here. Toilet available. Picnic tables abound if you are keen to have your lunch before the hunt. You can also hunt for shells along the way. Don't be surprised if you notice faint sulphur fumes seeping from the sand between the tidal range.
At the co-ordinates in the reserve you need to project a waypoint at 286m on a heading of 352 degrees true. This will lead you to GZ.
***UPDATE 11/1/08***
Had to replace cache. Placed it a further 7m uphill from the projected GZ. Cache now a 1 litre screwtop plastic container camoflagued. Also amended hint.
