The cache overlooks the land originally owned by the Murphy family. In the early 1900's the Murphy's owned several holiday cottages along the waterfront - which were eventually moved back to make way for Brisbane Waters Drive. Some of the original cottages are still there today along the main road, now heritage listed. You can park your car near "New Bridge" at S 33 28.545, E 151 19.423. Take the path under the railway tracks to gain access to the track leading up to the cache. It is a steep climb up the gravel track so bring some water and shoes with good grip. Great views of Woy Woy and the new suspension bridge. Cache is 1.5l container, so swaps are available for the kids (and the big kids) After locating the cache, the fit people may want to continue up the track even further- all the way to the top... well, maybe!
