Please avoid geolitter by removing any remaining traces of your cache or contact a local cacher to do so for you. Now, the West Coast cachers may be worthy, but you can guarantee that if you go after one of their caches today, there's a pretty good chance that you'll end up bogged down, halfway up a steep hillside with soaked feet and hail stinging your face. Not much fun, is it? Thankfully, there is an alternative. Just stick your car by the side of the road and go for it. After all, numbers are everything, aren't they? Don't forget Pooter's Maxim: If you can't see the car, you've walked too far!!
Everybody notices Pulpit Rock when they go past it on the A82, but very few people stop. Probably because you've just got past the traffic lights after a long crawl up Loch Lomondside, and now's your chance to get past that dodgy caravanette with the four bikes crammed on the back carrier, that's held you up since Firkin Point.
Well stop today. It's a lot more impressive close up. There isn't much parking but I'm sure you'll manage to squeeze in somewhere. There is also a neat little IPS round the back of the Rock, by the Demonic Graffiti, but that's just a spoiler!
