Panagius Spillianis Monastery - Samos. Overlooking the picturesque city of Pythagorion you find the Monastery of Spillianis. Be sure to visit the cave chapel in connection with the monastery - it' s a must. This cache has "Sotigirl & Komodo"as special friends, as they kindly looked after the cache, and placed a new log book, October 2010:-))

You can drive all the way up to the monastery, but we recommend the walk - the distance from Pythagorion City is app. 1½ km.
The last meters to the cache are tricky because of rubbles etc. - so be careful.

Small note on cache maintenance: since 2003 we have spent 7- 8 weeeks every year (spread over 3-4 visits per year) in Samos. Samos is totally wellknown to us.
