Welcome to the location of Kearney’s buried time capsule!
This time capsule was buried as part of Kearney’s Centennial celebration on June 30, 1973, and is set to be opened on June 30, 2023.
For the history buffs, behind the time capsule is a Nebraska Historical Marker on “Historic Kearney.”
PLEASE STAY OUT OF THE FLOWERS!! Cache container is located a few feet from the actual capsule, marker and bushes.
And as always, cache log must be physically signed for credit and in fairness to other cachers.
