Geocache Description:

This cache is placed within walking distance of the Heinsburg CN Water Tower which has been named a historic site. From the cache site you can see the CN Water Tower, the North Saskatchewan river and a CN Caboose. This is also the staging area for the beginning of the Iron Horse Trail and is very close to the old ferry landing.

The Water tank was used by CN from 1930 - 1965, the purpose of the tank was to fill up steam locomotives as Heinsburg was a turn around point for the trains.

The muggled cache has been replaced by a magnetic micro containing a logbook and pencil. Please rehide well.
