Originally constructed in the late 1890's The Columbia & Western railway hasn't seen a train on it since the 1980's, it is now a multi use trail that runs from Castlegar to Midway and then joins the Kettle Valley railway. Bulldog Tunnel is located between the Castlegar - Christina Lake section of the CWR. There are many tunnels and trestles located along this section, Bulldog Tunnel is the longest at just under 1km in length.
