Split Rock 2 Traditional Cache

Go to camp site 21 or 23, cross the road to the west and find the path to the river. Depending on the time of year and weather conditions, trail may be muddy, slippery, weedy, buggy, with possible poison ivy. Use caution as a slip and fall into the river is not out of the question. Long pants recommended. Trail may be flooded in spring.
The cache is a camouflaged lock-n-lock container. Park is closed in the winter, but you may hike in. Extreme caution advised if you look for this cache in the winter. If there is a lot of snow, it will be difficult to find.
Split Rock Park in Garretson is one of the most beautiful parks in South Dakota. Please plan to stay for awhile and enjoy this park's amazing attributes.
