Jeepers Creepers Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

The Wackys: Sadly this one unburied itself over time and has now washed away in the floods. Unfortunately as I now live in Tasmania, I'm not likely to have any chance to replace it

Geocache Description:

JEEPERS CREEPERS, THAT’S A BIG CACHE!!

This mega-cache can be found near one our all time favourite campsites. It’s just a tad off the beaten track for many travellers, but it’s a gorgeous stretch of river that definitely made me think twice about breaking camp (well actually about 5 times).

In dry weather, 2wd access will be fine, but just watch if there are any puddles as the surface gets really slippery when wet. Having said that, the tracks are well formed and water should be the only issue. We take our caravan in there with no problems and it’s ‘not an off-roader’.

There’s no phone reception so phone-a-friend won’t work, but you shouldn’t need it anyway with a cache this big, and they probably couldn’t be much help anyway.

The Wackys hope you enjoy your BIG adventure!

We’ll dedicate this cache to The Burton’s for all their recent assistance, and to top it off, they had a plastic version of the container we were considering using and were happy to swap – thanks heaps guys!!
