Please come and join us for a geocaching event during the Stand By Me Celebration and Rolling Roadshow, in Brownsville, on July 28th from about 1pm to a little after dark. This geocaching event will be secluded on the south end of Pioneer park near the river. You can park your car in the park. You may really want to wear walking shoes and the river will be available for wading and such. Bring a blanket to sit on, there arent many picnic tables down by the river.
There will be a meet and greet at 2pm followed by the presentation of the Stand By Me themed scavenger geocaching hunt game I have planned. Feel free to bring a picnic lunch and/or dinner or just yourself if you are not hungry. 
Make sure to get plenty of sleep the night before, because this is going to be a very exciting day. 
Along with the scavenger geocaching game, the meet and greet, picnic, and the numerous geocaches to find in very close proximity, a number of other events are available for your enjoyment during the celebration. Check out the users webpage for more information.
The movie "Stand By Me" will be screened on a giant 40 ft tall inflated movie screen in the park at 9pm. The seating is first come first serve and is free.
