This cache is located near Sibley Lake. It's the water supply & recreation area for Natchitoches. It was originally known as Lake Terre Noir in 1875. It was drained & remained a swampy, wooded area until the early sixties. Completed in 1962 at the cost of 2.3 million, the lake covers 2,000 acres & has a 38 mile shoreline. While searching for this cache check out the lake & you may see the "Spider Ladies" in their little fishing boat with 20 cane poles on the lake most every day. The neighborhood knows there is a cache here so don't worry about searching for it.
