Nice quick cache in a very scenic spot. You can park right next to the cache, but there's plenty of additional parking in the area so you can roam around and view the architecture and scenery, which this cache and the series is meant to do.
Memorial Mayhem is my plan for a series of caches to bring seekers to some very cool spots that otherwise get passed right by. This series will focus on memorials or landmarks of special interest in my home area. It will give you a chance to check them out and see there is more to them than just a sign.
This is #1 in my series and is located in the heart of our town. The gothic revival house it is hidden across from is considered one of the top ten houses built in the U.S., and is very pink! The cache is a larger hide-a-key that only contains a log (so bring a writing instrument!) but it is large enough for a few geocoins, etc. Please be careful to replace in the exact same spot. If you also letterbox, there is one nearby as well!
