Geocache Description:


This cache was placed for the Fourth Annual Richmond Rally. This is an ammo can hidden off of the Blue Diamond bike trail hence the name. The cache is located inside of Pocahontas State Park. This cache can be attempted from two different starting points. Whichever route you pick there is a fee for parking. Also either way you choose the hike is over half a mile each way. The first, and easier route is to park at the Nature Center near N37° 23.306 W077° 34.980 and take the Old Mill Trail.
The other longer and slightly harder route starts at the Horner Forest Trail parking lot on Qualla Road at N37° 23.163 W077° 36.084. Take the trail at the northeastern corner of the parking lot, and follow it until you get to the blue diamond/ green diamond bike trail. Then just follow the trail to the cache. Please re-hide cache exactly as found and watch for muggles.
